Xbox One S Will Be Released On August 2
Microsoft decided to announce the release date of the Xbox One S.
The new console will be released on August 2, the same day that the Anniversary Update of Windows 10 will be released for all of the operating system’s platforms.
The release date and price of $399 applies to the “bigger” edition of the Xbox One S, i.e. the one that has 2TB of storage. Apart from it, there will be 2 other editions, with 1TB and 500GB for $349 and $299 respectively, but for the time being Microsoft doesn’t refer to their release dates, and asks us to wait for more information.
The announced release date is for particular markets only. More specifically, the Xbox One S will be released on that day in: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and USA.
You can pre-order the console from Microsoft Store.
