For those of you who are on the more extreme side of adventure, this app is the most suitable tool for your jaunts.

With Compass 360 Pro, you can always find your way, no matter where you are located. It offers deailed instructions, is very easy to use and does not require an internet connection to work (that would be against its purpose, in essense). Give it a try!

Super-Bright LED Flashlight is a top rated app in Play Store, which allows you to use your device as a flashlight. You can enable and disable the flashlight, plus check its intensity.

This is a nice starting list. I would add to it, from my Android phone's "Activities" folder:

- Snow-Forecast: essential when planning your ski days
- Strava, Ride with GPS, MapMyRide: good for your biking addiction
- Geo Tracker: good all around tracking app for various activities
- Altimeter and GPS Status: for quick altitude check, although they can do more than that
- Earth, by Google: exploring the Earth in 3D
