SEGA "Trying" To Release Shenmue & Shenmue II HD

Answering the fans’ questions, Dan Sheridan (SEGA community manager) said that the company is looking for ways to release HD versions of Shenmue and Shenmue II.

The will for releasing those versions does exist within the company, but certain technical limitations and issues with licensed products from the original titles make the process quite complicated. Remember that the last title of the series, Shenmue III, is expected to be released in December 2017 for PS4 and PC.
