Ryse: Son of Rome is one of the few next-gen console games that is not cross platform, well, at least for now. It was announced recently that Crytek would be releasing a PC version of the game, which will be compatible with 4K resolution, and include all of the game's DLC as well.

Visually, this game is one of the better next-gen releases we have seen yet, so it will definitely be interesting to see what it looks like on PC hardware with 4K resolution. Since Ryse didn't exactly get the highest review scores, or the most positive response from the gaming community, Crytek will need to ride on the coat-tails of their high-end graphics to see success with this PC port.

Bundling all of the DLC (which includes 16 new arena maps, five new skins, three other maps, and a new game mode), was a nice touch, and is sure to provide some incentive for players to pick this one up. Also included in the PC edition, is both of the special edition bonuses -- an extra multiplayer map, and the Legionnaire's Trust sword.
