This is just a piece of what you get when you're in the E3 event.

E3 2014 is just a few weeks away, and the number of teasers and playable demos is too damn high. The event, which will start on the 9th of June and last 3 days (until the 12th), has the following schedule:

Tuesday, 10/06, from 12:00 to 18:00

Wednesday, 11/06, from 10:00 to 18:00

Thursday, 12/06, from 10:00 to 17:00

The Press Conferences will be held one day earlier (on the 9th), with the exception of Nintendo’s which will be held on the 10th (you can see the detailed Press Conference schedule at the bottom of the article).

What Is E3?

For those of you who are not aware of it, E3 is the biggest gaming event in the world and is held annually at the L.A. Convention Center in California. The biggest companies in the gaming industry are there every year and hundreds of invited people get the chance to see announcements of new titles and trailers, get their hands on playable demos of upcoming releases and also get informed of the companies’ future plans as they are announced.

The Games Of E3 2014

Let’s take a look at this year’s biggest games sorted by publisher.

Starting with Ubisoft, attendees will get to see two Assassin’s Creed titles- Unity (PS4, Xbox One, PC) and Comet (PS3, Xbox 360- with this one’s name not having been confirmed yet). But that’s not all, since trailers for Far Cry 4 (PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) and Tom Clancy’s The Division (PS4, Xbox One, PC) will be shown too.

Electronic Arts, on the other hand, wants to make a bigger impression by announcing more games: Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC), EA Sports UFC (PS4, Xbox One), FIFA 15 (TBA), Madden NFL 15 (TBA), NHL 15 (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360), Tiger Woods PGA Tour 15 (TBA), The Sims 4 (PC) and Star Wars Battlefront (PS4, Xbox One, PC). There are rumors however that Battlefield 5, Mass Effect 4 and Mirror’s Edge 2 will make an appearance too.

As for Capcom (yes, they still make games), there are two titles confirmed for E3 this year- Monster Hunter Ultimate (3DS) and Ultra Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), although there’s still a possibility for the upcoming MMORPG Deep Down (the title is not confirmed either).

Moving on to Nintendo, there are two confirmed titles that will be displayed in this year’s E3: The Legend of Zelda for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U. Apart from them however there are a few other games that we might get to see too, such as Hyrule Warriors (Wii U), Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire (3DS) and X (Monolith’s project, Wii U).

Microsoft has only one confirmed title, and that is Halo 5: Guardians (Xbox One). There are rumors for more of them though, including Gears of War 4 (TBA), Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Xbox One), Project Spark (PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One), Quantum Break (Xbox One) and Sunset Overdrive (Xbox One).

Other promising and long-awaited games that will be shown are Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare by Activision, Disgaea 4 (PS Vita) by NIS, Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- F 2nd (PS3, PS Vita) and Sonic Boom (Wii U, 3DS) by SEGA, Destiny (PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One) by Activision, as well as Uncharted (PS4) by Sony. Additional titles that are not confirmed but have a high probability of being displayed are Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4, Xbox One) by Square Enix, a game in which many fans had lost interest in the past due to its ridiculous delay after the release of Kingdom Hearts 2 in 2006 (and many spin-off games in-between), and also Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain (PS3, Xbox 360, PC (TBA), PS4, Xbox One)- one of the two games that Metal Gear Solid 5 consists of.

What Else To Expect

There are a lot of surprises every year for those who attend and people can only speculate about what will be showcased, so we can't really say for sure if any of the rumors are true. But if anything, E3 2014 is definitely an event worth waiting for.

(A big thanks to IGN and their list of games that will be on E3 2014)
