E3 2016: Rumors Say Microsoft to Unveil New Xbox One and Controller
Microsoft is about to unveil the new Xbox One hardware and controller in the upcoming E3 2016, according to sources from inside the company. After the recent leak of the Xbox One Slim production notes from a Chinese production company, a new rumor started to spread regarding a new Xbox One.
More specifically, blogger Brad Sams revealed some interesting details about what Microsoft is planning for E3 2016, which were published in Paul Thurrott’s blog, a website best known for its leaks coming from Microsoft. According to Sams, the new Xbox One will be revealed along with a new controller that is said to have similar design with the current model, and will be available in white color.
The controller will be an updated version of the current one, but it’s not exactly clear if there will be notable changes, except for the color. It should be mentioned that Microsoft has already made available a new and improved version of the Xbox One controller, about a year ago. As for the Xbox One, the post mentioned that it will have new features and “it’s a much bigger deal than an updated standard controller”. The countdown for this year’s E3 has already started, so all we can do for now is have patience until then and wait until Microsoft’s press conference in June 13th.
