Unpacked Event 2016: Galaxy Note 7 To Be Revealed Soon!
The news from Korea arrived today early in the morning. Thus, the first invitations to spokespersons for the upcoming Unpacked Event 2016 by Samsung have already appeared, where the Koreans will officially announce the Galaxy Note 7! The event will take place on August 2 in three locations simultaneously: in New York at 11:00, in Rio de Janeiro at 12:00 and in London at 16:00.
For the company’s fans (and the Note phablets family of course), Samsung has already prepared a website in the company’s Newroom. Along with the event’s announcement, the Korean manufacturer also held a press conference, explaining why they chose to skip the Note 6 and go straight to 7:
First and foremost though, you might be curious as to why it’s called Galaxy Note7 instead of Galaxy Note6. There are a couple reasons why. First, the Galaxy Note7 will complement our Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and unify our product portfolio. Second, the Galaxy Note7 will minimize confusion about the latest mobile technology from Samsung, and provide full alignment with Galaxy S smartphone.
The Galaxy Note 7 has not been announced yet, but Samsung is eager to show us the device that has been working on for some time now. We don’t know the phablet’s final specifications yet, although rumors have it that it will have a curved 5.8-inch display on both sides, similarly to the Galaxy S7 edge, however, the Note 7 will not have flat screen version released.
There are also rumors speculating that it will have IP68 certification, 64GB expandable storage space, 6GB RAM, a 12MP main camera and a secondary 5MP front camera. The battery will have a capacity of 4,000 mAh or 3,600 mAh. It is not known yet if the company decided to sell the device equipped with a Snapdragon processor in North America and an Exynos processor in the rest of the world, as usual.
So, enjoy your holidays for the time being, and we’ll find out more in a just few weeks’ time!
