Sony's new selfie-promoting perfume bottle-like Cyber-shot camera

If you think the “selfie” trend is going away any time soon, then think again... you either die a hater, or live long enough to see yourself become a fan. It started as a fad, which I’m not quite sure why it got that much publicity- ok it’s you taking a picture of yourself, but this thing existed long before smartphones hit the market. Nevertheless, it looks like it’s getting worse now that people started putting weird cases that look like perfume bottles in their phones, like these for example:

In any case (pun intended), maybe you like wearing perfumes (literally), so it’s cool. But Sony decided to take it to the next level, and produce a new Cyber-shot camera that will look exactly like a perfume bottle, with its lens located at the top, inside the cap- a clear brick with a gold accent, which can also be flipped around. This way, people can look like they’re applying perfume while in reality they’re taking a photo of themselves, which is… supposed to look like… more casual out in the public, than just doing it the normal way? I don’t know, perhaps taking selfies normally has become too mainstream and it needs to change.
