In a new development in smarter charging rather than focus on wireless charging why not become free of the need to ever find an electrical power source? Well a company in the UK known as Be Upp has done just that with the development of its portable hydrogen power bank. Rather than have to remember to recharge the power bank just swap out a spent hydrogen cartridge for a replacement from the company.

Use Hydrogen Power & Go Truly Unplugged
The Be Upp charger has a thin, long elegant design with curved edges using aerospace-grade materials and Nanoparticle technology too.
Each fuel cell provides approximately 7,000 mAh of battery power or 25wh with a Metal Hydride battery and replaceable hydrogen fuel cell which could output to a smart phone via the standard USB 2 port. To put that in perspective, that is just shy of the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet and more than twice the capacity of the latest iPhone 6 Plus.
The Upp Fuel Cell measures 119.5mm x 40mm x 48mm. Using the protective Dust Cap Adaptor, the measurements are 124.5mm x 40mm x 48mm
The Upp Fuel Cell weighs in at 235 grams with each cartridge separately weighing 385 grams.
Fully Tested
The charging device has been fully tested for safely. The recharging technology has been tested on several iPhone models including the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, iPod Touch and iPod Nano, as well as several Android smart phones too.

The Upp is sold via the Apple Stores in the UK and through the Be Upp website currently.
The starter pack sells for £149/$232. It includes the Be Upp charger and a fuel cell cartridge. A reusable cartridge can be exchanged for a replacement for £5.95/$9.25. A case for the Be Upp charge sells separately for £19.95/$31.
Pretty Protective Case
