If some of the app icons appear in the hidden part of your system tray, in Windows 11 taskbar, this is what you can do:

Option 1: Simply expand the hidden icons and drag them, one by one, in the visible part of the system tray, next to the icons already shown there. This is by far the best option to solve this problem.

Option 2: Might not work, but you can try to

  • Press Win+R to open the Run prompt
  • Enter the value explorer shell:::{05d7b0f4-2121-4eff-bf6b-ed3f69b894d9}
  • Check the Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar checkbox and click OK.

That's all there is to it.

As a bonus, to enable and disable which icons are available in the system tray, open the Settings app and go to Personalization > Taskbar. Or, you can get there faster by right-clicking the taskbar and choosing Taskbar settings.

From here, look under the sections System tray icons and Other system tray icons, where you can enable or disable icons for the available apps as you wish.
