Gear Fit2 and Gear IconX Officially Announced
Samsung continues to expand in the market of fitness wearables, introducing its new Gear Fit2 and Gear IconX.
The Gear Fit2 features integrated GPS sensor and heart rate monitor, providing accurate, reliable records and measurements for the fitness program, while providing direct feedback on the user’s workout. Other features include a curved color 1.5-inch touch-screen with Super AMOLED technology, Auto Activity Tracking function, easy data transfer between the S Health app and other selected fitness applications, while including the “Step Challenges” feature and a standalone music player.
The Gear IconX are cordless earbuds that can keep track of details from the exercise program and provide information to users regarding their performance. Additionally, they can keep track of distance, speed, duration, heart rate and calories burned during runs, while having the ability to get synchronized easily with the S Health app. They also include a Voice Guide feature, which provides instant voice information regarding the user’s training progress, giving him the opportunity to listen to music independently. Lastly, it includes Bluetooth support and internal memory that can store up to 1,000 MP3s, allowing users to simply press the earbuds in order to easily change music.
