Game Review: Gravity is the new game by ZPLAY
ZPLAY is back with yet another addicting game based on a simple yet challenging gameplay. As the title suggests, this game is all about manipulating gravity. Let’s take a look and see what this game has to offer!
Gameplay
In Gravity the player must keep the small ball going without falling or flying above the platforms. The only action you can perform is tapping at the right moment to make the ball end up on top or under a platform. You need to be very careful on your moves because despite having only one goal, it is very easy to lose and see the ball disappearing to the infinite space.
But that’s not your only concern as there are platforms with spikes and also boxes that start falling when the ball rolls on them. Your movements should be fast and precise to avoid loses from these obstacles.
There are also gems around and you should try and collect as many as possible in order to unlock new types of colorful balls (there is even a pokeball among them!). If you lose after achieving a high score you are given the option to continue where you left of, either by spending gems or by watching ads. For now, the ads option doesn’t seem to work but I’m sure it is a matter that will be resolved with one of the next updates.
Graphics & Sounds
Gravity is very colorful and the colors blend beautifully together. It is really a treat for the eye to look at the BG and the same applies to the various balls. I love being surprised with what ball I’ll be rewarded next and I haven’t been displeased with the ones I got up to now. The BG music is soft and energetic at the same time, and fitting to the whole gravity/space theme.
Conclusion
Gravity stands out with its simplicity and beautiful designs. The gameplay is nothing extraordinary but it is perfect for spending some free time with. There are no levels or new objectives, you simply aim for the highest score and do your best to control the ball with gravity manipulations.
