ZylTimer.NET este o componentă de temporizare .NET de înaltă rezoluție, care oferă o precizie mai mare decât componenta standard .NET Timer.
Componenta .NET Timer care se livrează cu Delphi / C ++ Builder utilizează Windows Message Queue pentru a genera evenimentul Tick. Datorită acestei abordări, este imposibil să obțineți intervale de cronometru precise mai mici de 50 de milisecunde.
ZylTimer.NET este un cronometru bazat pe fir și datorită acestei arhitecturi oferă o precizie reală de 1-2 milisecunde, care este inevitabilă în aplicațiile critice în timp. Evenimentul Tick este întotdeauna lansat la timp, ceea ce nu este disponibil pentru standardul .NET Timer, atunci când sunt prea multe mesaje procesate.
